Lukashenko congratulates Russia’s People’s Artist Vladimir Bortko on 80th birthday

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Russia’s People’s Artist Vladimir Bortko on his 80th birthday, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

“You have made a significant contribution to the development of modern cinema. The works you have created, filled with original ideas and bold artistic choices, have become notable events in the world of art and have resonated with millions of viewers across generations,” the message of congratulations reads.

“May your creative work continue to promote the ideals of humanism, preserve traditions and strengthen the cultural ties between the peoples of Belarus and Russia,” the head of state added.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Vladimir Bortko good health, well-being, happiness and success.
