Union deputies will take part in the observation of elections of deputies of the State Duma

On 18-20 September, elections will be held for deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia will take part in the election observation, the Assembly's press service reports.

The Parliamentary Assembly delegation will participate in observing the parliamentary elections in the Russian Federation as part of the CIS observer mission. The delegation is led by Victor Nikolaikin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on Economic Policy and Chairman of the Standing Commission on Economic Policy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly will visit polling stations in Moscow and the Moscow Region to observe the voting process.
On September 20, delegation coordinator Victor Nikolaikin will participate in a meeting of the CIS observer mission's Council of Coordinators to prepare a final document on the election observation results; this document will be presented to the media at a press conference on September 21 at the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
