Putin addressed Russia’s citizens ahead of parliamentary elections

Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a traditional televised address to citizens before parliamentary elections.
Voting will take place in the Russian Federation from 18 to 20 September.

Vladimir Putin called the upcoming elections of deputies to the State Duma, as well as legislative assemblies and heads of a number of regions, municipal authorities significant, even a defining electoral campaign.
According to the Russian leader, every voter’s voice matters; personal choices directly determine which political forces will represent people’s interests at all levels.
"Voting will take place over three days: 18, 19 and 20 September. I ask you to make sure to exercise your constitutional right and make a considered, responsible decision so that the results of the election confirm the maturity and resilience of Russian society", - emphasized the President of Russia.
