PHOTOfact: Media got acquainted with the production of machine building flagships in the Minsk region

As part of the press tour "Movement for improvement of quality of Belarusian goods on the example of industrial enterprises in the Minsk region, awarded the State Seal of Quality", representatives of Belarusian media visited two flagship of domestic machine building - OJSC "BELAZ" and SZAO "BELGEE".

At the BELAZ journalists got acquainted with the work of the enterprise, its production capacities and approaches to quality assurance of manufactured machinery. They were told about the localization of production in the Union State, the assignment of "Goods of the Union State" status to three models of quarry dump trucks, and also about plans to produce hydrogen and robotic equipment.
Deputy General Director for Quality System Management of OJSC "BELAZ" Vitaly Bilytsky noted that the company is working to ensure that the product is actually 100% in the Union State. "It is very important to preserve the security of our product and independence from events that may occur. We are working to ensure that our product is in fact 100% Union State", - stressed the speaker.
At the SZAO "BELGEE", journalists were told about plans to produce cars. Deputy Director for Marketing and Sales Natalia Kharkova reported that, with high demand, the enterprise expects to reach a volume of 120 thousand vehicles in the year. "Next year’s plans are no less ambitious - we want to approach 200 thousand," she shared.
Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of SZAO "BELGEE" Vladimir Shavel said that the main sales directions are the markets of Belarus and Russia. At the same time, more than half of the output goes to export. At the same time, significant volumes are supplied to the domestic market, where demand for domestic cars remains high.
