Minsk conference to bring together forensic experts from Belarus, China, Russia, Uzbekistan

The event is organized under the auspices of the State Forensic Examination Committee by the scientific and practical center of the expert agency.

The conference is held to exchange scientific and practical experience on pressing issues of criminalistics and forensic examination, improve scientific, methodological and information support for forensic expert activity, raise the scientific level and quality of forensic examinations, and develop cooperation in science and law enforcement practice.

The plenary session will be attended by representatives of the State Forensic Examination Committee, the State Secretariat of the Security Council, the Constitutional Court, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Investigative Committee, the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Secretariat of the Belarusian People’s Congress, the National Center for Legislation and Legal Information, educational institutions of Belarus and other state bodies, as well as representatives of the scientific and expert community of Belarus, China, Russia and Uzbekistan.

The conference will feature expositions of specialized scientific, methodological and reference literature, technical means and equipment used for forensic examinations and scientific research.

Presentations on various expert areas will be heard in three thematic sections. Following the conference, a collection of materials is planned to be published.

The Tribune of the Young Scientist competition is planned on 17-18 September. It is held to attract young scientists to conduct research on pressing issues of forensic examination, develop the scientific initiative of researchers and stimulate creative activity.
