How many cars are planned to be produced at CJSC BELGEE by the end of the year was reported by Natalya Kharkova, Deputy Director for Marketing and Sales, during a media tour for Belarusian media to the flagship enterprises of the machine‑building industry in the Minsk Region, a correspondent from Soyuz.by reports.

Natalya Kharkova noted that for the company, everything starts not with production, but with the market and the customer. “If there is a high demand for our cars on the Belarusian market, we take all the necessary measures to meet it. To this end, modernization has been carried out over the past five years. Work to increase capacity and maintain the operability of equipment is carried out almost constantly. This year, due to the high demand for our cars, we plan to significantly increase the volume of production for the domestic market,” she emphasized.

If high demand continues, the company expects to reach a volume of 120,000 cars by the end of the year. “Our plans for the next year are no less ambitious — we want to get close to 200,000,” said Natalya Kharkova.

The fulfillment of these tasks depends not only on the production process itself, but also on logistics, the operation of the dealer network, and the stability of demand in the Russian regions. At the same time, the planned production volumes include the entire range of models being produced, including electric vehicles, Natalia Kharkova emphasized.

Vladimir Shavel, Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of CJSC BELGEE, said that the main sales markets are Belarus and Russia. At the same time, more than half of the manufactured products are exported. At the same time, significant volumes are also supplied to the domestic market, where there is still high demand for domestic cars.
