The 2nd "Viva Maestro!" International Classical Art Festival brings together performers from Belarus and Russia in Minsk

Minsk will host the 2nd "Viva Maestro!" International Festival of Classical Art. The event will bring together young performers from Belarus and Russia with famous symphony orchestras. The festival's repertoire spans works ranging from Viennese Classicism and German Romanticism to Russian and Spanish classics, according to the "Russian House in Minsk" Telegram channel.

The project’s finale traditionally takes place in Minsk. The program features three major events: concerts at the Belarusian State Philharmonic and the National Art Museum, as well as a creative meeting with virtuoso violinist Pavel Milyukov.
The centerpiece of the Minsk events will be the "Maestro and Children" concert at the Belarusian State Philharmonic, scheduled for September 19. Over 250 musicians will take part in this large-scale event. The program’s special guest is the Russian violinist and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Pavel Milyukov.
Young performers from Moscow, Minsk, St. Petersburg, Kaluga, Belgorod, Tyumen, Stary Oskol, and Kazan will also take the stage. The performances will be accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the National State TV and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus, under the direction of chief conductor Alexander Vysotsky.
On September 18, ahead of the philharmonic concert, the Republican Gymnasium-College of the Belarusian State Academy of Music will host a creative meeting with virtuoso violinist Pavel Milyukov. Aspiring musicians will have the opportunity to receive professional advice and discuss the nuances of performance artistry with the master.
The festival will conclude with the "Dialogue of Cultures" chamber music concert, scheduled for September 21 at the National Art Museum. The program will feature young talents from both countries, as well as the Honored Amateur Ensemble of the Republic of Belarus — the Igor Zhuravlenko Boys' and Young Men's Choir, led by Semyon Klimanov.
Admission to all festival events is free, including the concerts and the creative meeting.
The event is organized by the "Art, Science and Sport" Foundation with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus and the Rossotrudnichestvo representation in the Republic of Belarus.
