The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus hosted a meeting with representatives of the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, where the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral scientific and technical cooperation. The participants in the negotiations paid special attention to such key areas as agriculture, medicine, biotechnology and genetics, where scientists from the two countries have significant potential for joint development. In addition, during the meeting, the topic of the implementation of the social project "The History of Belovezhskaya Bison in the context of ecology, geography and love for the Fatherland" was touched upon, which involves the creation of a documentary film "Belovezhskaya bison in the Republic of Bashkortostan". This film is designed to tell about the life of legendary animals, combining ecological, geographical and cultural components.
