The statement was made before the start of a meeting with representatives of ministries and departments of the Russian Federation acting as government customers of the State Union programs and activities in the fields of defense, security, law enforcement and defense-industrial cooperation.
According to Alexey Kubrin, two of the four current programs are supervised by the Ministry of Defense. "This is a program related to the provision of a regional group of troops, and a program related to the logistics of a regional group of troops," the Deputy State Secretary explained.
Another program, according to Alexey Kubrin, is of a high-tech nature and is aimed at protecting information resources. It is designed to ensure the security of both the state bodies of Belarus and Russia, as well as other structures involved in the process of ensuring the security of the two countries.
The fourth of the mentioned programs concerns the issues of ensuring the border security of the Union State. Alexey Kubrin noted that this program has been implemented for several years and is "fairly clear" and well-established.
