The batch will consist of 50 electric vehicles, developed jointly with the Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant based on a custom design. The vehicles will be deployed to city routes in March of this year, following commissioning.
The entire batch of new rolling stock will be delivered to the city's streets by the spring of 2026. Furthermore, the "Gorodzhanin" operates in temperatures ranging from -40 to +40 degrees Celsius, which is especially important for the Ural capital.
Minsk Automobile Plant is one of the largest Belarusian engineering companies, specializing in the production of heavy-duty trucks, special-purpose vehicles, buses, trolleybuses, and trailers. The MAZ brand is widely known in the CIS and beyond. The equipment complies with Euro 5 and 6 environmental standards.
