Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on conscription in March-May 2026

On February 23, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 67 "On discharge from the reserve and conscription for military service, service in the reserve." This was reported in the press service of the head of state.

The document provides for conscription in March - May 2026 for military service in the reserve of male citizens of Belarus who turned 18 on the day of conscription and who are not eligible for a deferral from conscription, as well as citizens of military age who have lost the right to a deferral.

At the same time, the decree provides for the retirement of conscripts who have served the established terms of military service.
