Minsk Oblast Governor Aleksei Kushnarenko noted that Tatarstan is a region with highly intensive agriculture and holds leading positions in Russia. Minsk Oblast is also one of the leaders in Belarus, accounting for more than a quarter of the country’s total crop and livestock production.
In 2025, agricultural trade between the sides was comparable, with imports from Belarus to Tatarstan totaling $48.8 million and exports from Tatarstan reaching $50.2 million.
The parties also discussed prospects for further cooperation, including expanding export shipments and potential joint projects in crop farming, livestock breeding, and agricultural mechanization.
