Over the course of its existence, “Kupala Dictation” has grown in scale, becoming a true cultural and intellectual brand of the university. This year Vladimir Korotkevich’s poem God Lives in Belarus was chosen for the dictation.
“By the way, we express our gratitude to our colleagues from the Second CIS Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who also joined the event and were able to savor the melody of the Belarusian language,” the diplomatic mission noted.

“We consider it a special honor to write the dictation on this day together with our country,” emphasized Irina Akulovich, Minister-Counselor at the Belarusian Embassy in Russia. “We wrote it with our families, our children, and each of us embraced the dictation theme, God Lives in Belarus, with special feeling. Today holds special meaning – it is the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland. Our president put it well: ‘We are not laying down our country on shields. We will defend it as best we can.’ The commander-in-chief set out the task clearly, addressing it primarily to those who have devoted their lives to serving the Fatherland. Yet in essence, it is a call to every one of us. To defend your country means to preserve not only its borders, but also our culture, our traditions, and, of course, the Belarusian language.”
