The voice of Belarus is being heard by more people and is resonating with more countries, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus Oleg Gaidukevich told the STV channel as he commented on Belarus' peace initiatives on Ukraine, BelTA informs.

“Europe cannot initiate negotiations, it is not independent, it is under the sway of the United States. The Ukrainian regime is dependent on the United States by a million percent and cannot take such decisions either. Everything depends on America. The war is still beneficial for the United States. Why? The war deflects attention away from the default, they test weapons, they earn millions of dollars. Therefore, unfortunately, there are no negotiations so far,” Oleg Gaidukevich said.
According to him, the peace initiative of the Belarusian president is gaining more and more ground in the world, as there is a growing understanding among many countries that nothing will happen without negotiations. “The voice of Belarus is being heard by more people. It is resonating with other countries, like China. A number of European politicians are starting to talk about it despite repressions and pressure. There is a growing understanding in the world that America is deceiving the whole world by telling a fictitious tale,” he said.
He noted that the collective West did everything to pit Europe against Russia; now the task is to drive a wedge between the CSTO countries. “They do not need peace here. They need a war raging around Russia. Ukraine is on fire, they want the same for Belarus, Kazakhstan and other countries. We must be ware of this. Our peace initiative is relevant. We are telling the truth, and we believe it will come true. The question is at what cost and when,” the MP said.
