The Fourth Counter-Terrorism Forum is underway in Minsk

The Fourth Counter‑Terrorism Forum has started in Minsk. The international event was organized to implement the decision adopted in 2025 at the summit of the heads of state of the CIS to establish a new format of cooperation “CIS+”. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.

The forum is organized by the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Anti‑Terrorism Centre of the CIS member states, and the Regional Anti‑Terrorist Structure of the SCO.

The event will include the CIS Conference on Countering Terrorism and Extremism, as well as an international scientific and practical conference of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure, attended by over 300 delegates representing the competent authorities of 18 CIS member states and SCO members.

On the second day of the forum, joint anti‑terrorism exercises of the competent bodies of the CIS and the SCO, “Eurasia‑Anti‑Terror 2026,” will be held.
