Russia seeks closer cooperation with Belarus' Amkodor

A delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has toured enterprises affiliated with the Amkodor holding company and expressed interest in expanding cooperation with the Belarusian holding company, BelTA learned from the press service of Amkodor.

The delegation included company chiefs working in the mechanical engineering industry.

The purpose of the visit was to study the production facilities, product samples, and the assortment of manufactured equipment.

“Representatives of the delegation expressed their interest in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation to reduce dependence on foreign suppliers,” the press service said.

Founded in 1927, the Amkodor holding company incorporates 26 legal entities, including 17 factories. The company produces construction machines, utility vehicles and component parts, forestry machines and agricultural machinery. The company sells a total of 125 models and modifications of vehicles, machines, and equipment to 40 countries worldwide. In recent years, the holding company has focused on innovative projects. The main goal of the company is developing its own production facilities, introducing new advanced solutions and technologies, maintaining leadership positions in the markets.
