"The program of events dedicated to the anniversary date includes a number of major national events, among which the most significant ones are the solemn gathering and the "Memory of Victory" concert featuring masters of the arts at the Palace of the Republic, as well as the gala concert "Great Victory," which will take place during the day at the venue near the Palace of Sports", said Inna Adamovich. The culmination of the holiday will be a military parade and a theatrical performance titled "We Will Live" on Masherova Avenue, prepared by the Ministry of Culture and the Belarusian State University of Culture.
The "Great Victory" gala concert at the Sports Palace will start at 15:00 and will be held with the support of the Standing Committee of the Union State. Vladislava Artyukovskaya, artistic director of the Youth Variety Theatre, directed the event. The best groups and performers of the republic will take part in the concert, and the popular Russian performer Denis Klyaver is to be the headliner.
The concert of masters of arts "Memory of Victory" at the Palace of the Republic, directed by Agata Motsko, will be held in the format of a modern cinematic narrative featuring video stories from the perspective of veterans of the Great Patriotic War. The main idea of the event is to preserve historical memory, pay tribute to veterans, and showcase the heroism of the Belarusian people during the war. Leading ensembles and performers from across the country will participate, including the winner of the TV project "Factor.BY," Ivan Dyatlov, and Pyotr Yelfimov, the recipient of the Francysk Skaryna Medal. Heads of state administration bodies, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the public of Minsk, labour collectives, student youth and delegations from each region and the city of Minsk are expected to attend the event.
