Belarusian fencers admitted teaming tournaments at the World and European Championships

TASS reports The International Fencing Federation (FIE) has allowed Belarusians and Russians to participate in the World and European Championships in team competitions.

The admitted teams will compete only in neutral status and under the flag of the International Federation. The European Fencing Championships will be held from 14 to 19 June in Genoa, Italy, the Planetary Forum will be held from 22 to 30 July in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Earlier, Belarusian and Russian juniors were admitted to the team tournaments under the aegis of the FIE.
