The Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research and the Russian Agency for Strategic Initiatives with the support of the Development Bank have published a joint tourist guidebook "Two Countries, a thousand factories" aimed at popularizing industrial tourism, as BELTA reports.

According to the authors of the project, industrial tourism has become an important instrument connecting business and society, allowing consumers to learn more about their favorite brands, partners to find technological solutions, pupils and students to get inspiration for their future careers.

The first copies of the guidebook were presented to the Heads of State of the two countries. The authors believe that the publication will become a "ticket" to the world of innovative production, breaking stereotypes about "boring industry". The guidebook takes the reader through the workshops, explaining complex industrial processes in an easy-to-understand way. Joint Belarusian-Russian industrial tours will become a bridge between generations, countries and dreams.

The tourist guide "Two Countries, a thousand factories" can be found in the libraries of cities and educational institutions, and it is also possible to study the peculiarities of the enterprises' production with the help of the online version of the publication.
