“It is a great honor for the university to host a forum under the auspices of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The university has brought together scientists, government officials, young teachers and specialists of the highest class to share knowledge and solve a number of strategic problems in economic integration,” Rector of the university Sergei Kharitonchik said.
The program committee of the forum has featured rector of BNTU Sergei Kharitonchik, Dean of the Faculty of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship Aleksei Danilchenko and ten scientists representing the EAEU countries (Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Armenia), including academicians and doctors of science.
The opening ceremony was followed by a plenary session.
Nikolai Kushnarev, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Director of the Department of Industrial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission, emphasized the importance of the event for the EEC. “The effect of the union can be felt by every member state, so we need a concerted decision of all five states in order to coordinate all our policies. That is why we need such forums, and the Eurasian Economic Commission as a platform that implements these policies, formats and tools for cooperation,” he said.
The second day of the forum, 17 March, will feature five sections, where participants will be able to learn about innovative educational technologies in the professional training of students in economics, the creation of common markets in the EAEU, the formation of a common industrial and structural policy of the EAEU member countries, trends and prospects for the Eurasian economic integration.
