Lukashenko on working trip to Glubokoye District

 Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is on a working trip to Glubokoye District, Vitebsk Oblast, BelTA informs.

The president is set to study the operations of Glubokoye Milk Canning Plant. It is possible that the head of state will visit other production facilities of the district capital.

During the working trip, the head of state will review progress to implement Decree No. 70 “On the development of the agro-industrial complex of Vitebsk Oblast” as of 25 February 2020, which concerns the formation and development of agro-industrial clusters.

In pursuance of the decree, an agro-industrial cluster was also created at Glubokoye Milk Canning Plant. The cluster incorporates 23 agricultural organizations (including three agricultural services providers), three processing enterprises (with one branch) and one retail outlet.

Glubokoye Milk Canning Plant is a major producer of dairy products (canned milk, cheese, milk powder and whey). It processes about 16% of milk produced in Vitebsk Oblast.

Glubokoye Milk Canning Plant includes the head enterprise located in the town of Glubokoye and the Braslavryba production branch. The company is the founder and owner of Glubokoye Meat Processing Plant, Gluboksky Kolos, agricultural enterprises For the Motherland, Mnyuto, Meretskiye, Koroli, Konstantinov Dvor, Golubichi.

Glubokoye Milk Canning Plant produces almost 80 types of dairy products that are sold under the Glubokoye brand in Belarus and abroad. Products are also shipped to Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Israel, Ukraine, Moldova, Libya, the USA, China, Syria, Vietnam, Japan
