Lukashenko, Putin attend Union State Supreme State Council summit

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin are taking part in the Union State Supreme State Council summit in Konstantinovsky Palace in St. Petersburg, BelTA has learned.

One of the main issues on the agenda is to approve the draft document on the main guidelines for the implementation of the provisions of the Union State Treaty for 2024-2026 and the discuss prospects for further development of Belarusian-Russian cooperation in various areas. The parties will take stock of the progress made in the implementation of the main guidelines for 2021-2023 and 28 Union State programs.
The agenda also includes issues related to the program of concerted actions in foreign policy, a scientific and technological development strategy, the implementation of a common industrial policy, modernization and development of railway infrastructure, development of the Union State mass media.
