Belarusian MAZ ships number of buses to Russian Yekaterinburg

A batch of new comfortable buses MAZ-203, which are equipped with an air conditioner, has been delivered to the Russian city of Yekaterinburg on the eve of celebration of the city's 297th anniversary, press service of the Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ told BelTA.

Yekaterinburg Mayor Aleksandr Vysokinsky took part in the acceptance ceremony. The mayor praised the buses and noted how comfortable the driver seat with a panoramic windshield and a soft chair was.

Various city government officials also took part in the acceptance ceremony.

After the presentation the buses went to work on urban lines in Yekaterinburg.

Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark) is one of Belarus' largest mechanical engineering companies. It specializes in making heavy-duty trucks, special-purpose vehicles, buses, trolleybuses, and trailing units. MAZ is a well-known international brand. MAZ vehicles are compliant with the environmental standards Euro 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. The company makes a total of over 500 models and modifications of tractor units, dropside trucks, and chassis for mounting various kinds of equipment.
