Belarus to buy IFC shares worth nearly $11.4m

Belarus is set to purchase shares of the International Finance Corporation worth almost $11.4 million. The decision was formalized by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No.580 as of 3 October that was officially posted on the National Legal Internet Portal on 6 October, BelTA has learned.

The document reads that the Belarusian government agrees on the proposal of the Finance Ministry regarding additional subscription to 11,392 shares of the International Finance Corporation worth $1,000 each to the total of $11.392 million.

The Finance Ministry was instructed to oversee the activities related to the subscription.
