On the eve of a working meeting between Alexander Rogozhnik, head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Russia, and Dmitry Bakanov, CEO of the Russian State Corporation Roscosmos, current directions and prospects of Belarusian-Russian cooperation in the space industry were discussed.

The Ambassador of Belarus to Russia expressed gratitude to the Russian partners for the support of the Belarusian space exploration and use programs.

"Effective cooperation has helped to accomplish the most difficult tasks, including the flight to the ISS of the first Belarusian female cosmonaut Marina Vasilevskaya," said Alexander Rogozhnik. The diplomat recalled the successful implementation of scientific and technical programs of the Union State in the field of space exploration.

During the meeting, agreements were reached on the development of cooperation in relevant areas, including the creation and operation of high-precision equipment, and the practical implementation of technologies created within the framework of allied programs.
