Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Pakistan

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Dr. Arif Alvi, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“In a short period of time by historical standards, your beautiful country has built its statehood and determined its own path of socio-economic transformations, having retained its ethnic identity,” the message of congratulations reads.

The head of state noted that relations between Minsk and Islamabad are developing dynamically in the spirit of mutual respect and trust.

“I am convinced that we can effectively step up cooperation in manufacturing, pharmaceutics, agriculture, electric transport, petrochemistry, education, science and technology,” the Belarusian leader stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Arif Alvi good health, happiness and success, and the people of Pakistan progress and prosperity.
