Lukashenko sends anniversary day greetings to Belarusian police

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated active and retired employees of the internal affairs bodies on the 107th anniversary of the formation of the Belarusian police, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.

“For more than a century, the internal affairs bodies have been working selflessly every day to maintain law and order in the country, making sure that our people live in calm, peace and harmony,” the message of congratulations reads. “Your dangerous and difficult work requires unfailing determination, courage and bravery, uncompromising toughness towards criminals and great kindness towards those who need protection.”
The head of state emphasized that the country’s citizens fully trust the Belarusian police and know that police officers always fulfill their duties with honor and are ready to help at any moment.
The president expressed special gratitude to women serving in the police, as they bear all the burdens of difficult service along with men. He also thanked mothers and spouses of the police personnel who support their beloved ones in their difficult job.
“Today we honor police veterans for their great services to the fight against crime, for ensuring peace and tranquility of our country. Thank you for taking an active part in the patriotic education of young people, sharing your personal experience with them,” he emphasized. Aleksandr Lukashenko went on saying: “We will never forget the heroism of our law enforcement officers and honor every one who died in the line of duty.”
The president wished active and retired employees of the internal affairs bodies and their loved ones good health, happiness, prosperity and peaceful skies.
