Foreign leaders and heads of international organisations congratulate Lukashenko on his election victory

Leaders of foreign countries congratulate President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on his election victory.

Kazakh President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Alexander Lukashenko on his election victory in a telephone conversation. Tokayev noted that in Kazakhstan Alexander Lukashenko is known as an outstanding political figure who has made a huge contribution to the development of Kazakh-Belarusian relations of friendship and strategic partnership.

Presidents of Belarus and Uzbekistan Alexander Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev also had a telephone conversation. Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated his Belarusian counterpart on his convincing victory in the presidential election.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon also congratulated his Belarusian counterpart on the victory and high result of the last presidential election.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Lukashenka on his election victory. "Your convincing victory in the elections clearly demonstrates your high political authority, as well as the population's undoubted support for the state course followed by Belarus. Recently we have managed to do a lot to strengthen friendly ties between Moscow and Minsk. And, of course, we will continue to work closely together to further develop the multifaceted Russian-Belarusian cooperation, improve the effectiveness of the Union State institutions and promote mutually beneficial integration processes in the Eurasian space," the Russian leader said in his letter of congratulations. Vladimir Putin wished Alexander Lukashenko new successes in state activity for the benefit of the fraternal Belarusian people, as well as good health and well-being.

On 27 January, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who congratulated the Belarusian head of state on his confident victory in the presidential election and wished him success in his work in this responsible position and implementation of his plans.

"Friendly Belarus - prosperity and power" - Xi Jinping congratulated Lukashenko on his election victory. "I attach great importance to the development of China-Belarus relations, I am ready to make joint efforts with you to continue the traditional friendship between China and Belarus, deepen bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation, and promote the progressive development of China-Belarus relations for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries," Xi Jinping stressed. 

SCO Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev congratulated Lukashenko on his victory in the presidential election. "Allow me to congratulate you on behalf of our Shanghai Cooperation Organisation observer mission on the convincing victory. We have already familiarised ourselves with the data of the Central Election Commission of Belarus. For our part, we regard the invitation to observe the election as a sign of the Belarusian state's openness to external observation, trust and respect for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation," Yermekbayev stressed.

Head of the EEC Collegium Bakytzhan Sagintayev congratulated Lukashenko on his election victory. "I am convinced that your many years of fruitful experience in leading the state will continue to contribute to the economic achievements of the Republic of Belarus and the development of integration processes on the Eurasian continent," the congratulatory letter reads.

CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov expressed confidence that under the leadership of Alexander Lukashenko Belarus would continue to make a significant contribution to integration processes, strengthening stability in the vast Eurasian space, deepening allied relations within the Collective Security Treaty Organisation.

Patriarch Kirill congratulated Lukashenko on his victory in the presidential election. "It is gratifying that in your challenging ministry you invariably pay much attention to the spiritual and moral state of society and support of traditional family values," said the patriarch. He expressed hope for further development of co-operation between the state authorities and the Belarusian Orthodox Church.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan congratulated Lukashenka on his victory in the presidential election. In his congratulatory message, Shahbaz Sharif also noted the long history of friendly relations between Pakistan and Belarus and expressed hope to continue working together to further strengthen ties between the two countries. According to him, co-operation in various fields, including trade, education and culture, is already developing and there is interest in exploring opportunities to expand interaction in other areas.

The Kyrgyz President congratulated Lukashenko by phone on his confident election victory. The two leaders reaffirmed the high level of Belarusian-Kyrgyz interaction and interest in further expansion of mutually beneficial co-operation.

First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated Lukashenko on his election victory. Alexander Lukashenko also warmly thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for his kind words and wishes.

The President of Vietnam has congratulated Lukashenka on his election victory. "Vietnam always closely follows and observes with satisfaction the successes achieved under your leadership by the Belarusian people in socio-economic development and strengthening the country's international positions. Vietnam attaches great importance to strengthening and developing the traditional friendship with Belarus and is convinced that thanks to the determination of the leaders and peoples of the two countries, the multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Belarus will continue to bring even more results for the common interests of the two peoples, for peace, stability and development in the region and the world," the message of congratulations reads.

The Turkmen President congratulated Lukashenko on his victory and expressed confidence in developing relations with Belarus 
"Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the further development of bilateral co-operation, which is traditionally based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and trust. I am deeply convinced that under your wise and far-sighted leadership the Republic of Belarus will achieve even greater successes, and our interstate relations will reach a qualitatively new level," the message of greetings reads.

Nicaraguan President José Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Vice President Rosario Murillo sent congratulations to the President on his election victory. "We are happy and proud of our close, fraternal and revolutionary relationship. It is in the context of this combination of desires, goals and compromises for peace, well-being and prosperity of rights that we congratulate you on this historic triumph, which confirms that you are the President of your courageous people to continue to play a major role in the struggle for a new, multipolar world of justice, fraternity and respect," the congratulatory message said.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has received a letter of congratulations from President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic on his victory in the presidential election. "On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on your re-election as President of the Republic of Belarus and wish you good health and success in fulfilling your responsible mission," said Alexander Vucic.

Alexander Lukashenko has received a letter of congratulations on his election victory from Chairman of the State Administrative Council of Myanmar, Prime Minister of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing.
