CEC: 403 international observers accredited for presidential election in Belarus

 403 foreign (international) observers have already been accredited to observe the presidential election in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Central Election Commission.

In terms of geographical representation observers come from about 40 countries, including about 15 European countries, and also countries of the African continent, Latin America, Asia and the CIS”. 

Territorial commissions for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus accredited 37,753 domestic observers.

Most of all observers represent public associations - 25,286 people. 4,488 observers represent citizens, 4,464 people - political parties, 3,540 - labor collectives.    
Seven observers were accredited by the CEC of Belarus.

Accreditation of domestic observers will close on 20 January 2025.
