Book about Belarusian Bolshoi Theater to be presented at Minsk book fair

The book "The Bolshoi Theater of Belarus. Time Travel" will be launched during the 31st installment of the Minsk International Book Fair on 16 March, Director General of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus Yekaterina Dulova said, BelTA has learned.

The book is the joint project of the Belarusian Information Ministry and the winner of the president’s Spiritual Revival award Vladimir Likhodedov. "It features a large number of rare materials from newspapers and magazines, including unique photographs of the theater during the years of occupation, and footnotes. The history of the building, in fact, shows the history of the country," Yekaterina Dulova noted.
According to her, the book launch will take place at the central site of the Minsk book fair on 16 March. "This book is an absolute rarity that provides comprehensive knowledge about what happened and who worked in the theater," Yekaterina Dulova added.
The Minsk International Book Fair will be running in the Belarusian capital from 14 to 17 March.
