Belarus-Russia Union State budget 2024 adopted

The Belarus-Russia Union State budget 2024 was passed at the 65th session of the Union State Parliamentary Assembly in Moscow on 18 December. Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko took part in the meeting, BelTA has learned.

The Union State MPs adopted amendments and additions to the Decree of the Supreme State Council of the Union State “On the Union State Budget 2023, approved the Union State budget for 2024, and also the plan-schedule of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia for 2024 and the plan of international activities of the Parliamentary Assembly for 2024.

The revenue part of the budget stands at RUB6,970.1 million. Compared to 2023, the share contributions of Belarus and Russia increased by 38%. The expenditure part of the budget amounts to RUB5,722.2 million. These funds will be used to finance five programs and 37 activities in energy, information technology, space, healthcare, agriculture and border security.

Vladimir Andreichenko expressed confidence that the Union State budget 2024 will become an effective tool for the implementation of projects and programs that are especially needed at the current stage of integration.
