Tourist flow to MTZ from Russia up 30% in January-April 2026

More than 6,500 tourists have visited Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) since the beginning of the year, the press service of the Belarusian tractor maker told BelTA.

“Especially pleasing is the fact that not only the total number of visitors is growing, but also the number of foreign guests. The most notable trend is among Russian citizens, who, for example, visited us in 2025 twice as often as in 2024. Moreover, in January-April of this year, the tourist flow from the neighboring country increased by another 30%,” said said Sergei Sidorovich, head of the labor glory museum and industrial center at MTZ

He noted that since 2017, industrial tourism at the enterprise has attracted guests from 84 countries, and the geography continues to expand. This year, MTZ welcomed tourists from Singapore and the Philippines for the first time.

Such interest in the plant motivates the staff of the labor glory museum and industrial center to offer new services. In 2026, they launched two new tour formats with a focus on personalization.

“In particular, we offer individual walking tours for groups of up to five people. This is a direct response to the preferences of visitors from Russia, who enjoy exploring MTZ in a more intimate setting. In addition, groups of up to six people can tour the enterprise using factory transport. These programs include immersion in production, a museum visit, virtual simulator races, and even lunch at the factory restaurant,” Sergei Sidorovich added.

He also noted that the increase in tourist traffic has positively affected souvenir sales. In January-April 2026, sales grew by nearly 30% year-on-year.
