A tanker truck based on the MAZ‑4372 chassis was presented for the first time at an exhibition in Kazan

The Minsk Automobile Plant, together with the POZHSNAB enterprise, presented a tanker truck based on the MAZ‑4372 chassis at the “Integrated Safety — 2026” exhibition in Kazan, the MAZ press service reports.

The press service reported that the chassis and the superstructure are being presented to the general public for the first time. The tanker truck is a full‑fledged all‑wheel‑drive 4×4 vehicle: 7 metres in length, 3 metres in height, and only 2.2 metres in width. It is powered by a 220-hp engine, has a gross weight of up to 14 tons and a maximum speed of 90 km/h. In cramped courtyards, narrow passages, and dense building, it is often the width that determines how quickly the equipment can reach the place a call.
The crew consists of 6 firefighters, and despite the reduced dimensions, the necessary GOST requirements for the placement of firefighters are met. All‑wheel drive is especially important in winter — snow, unplowed courtyards, and difficult terrain will not be an obstacle to movement.
“We didn’t just make the vehicle more compact — we turned every centimetre saved into an advantage on city roads,” the management of POZHSNAB emphasized. “Now, a city fire tanker is on display at the exhibition. But the MAZ‑4372 is the foundation for the future line‑up of compact special vehicles: fire‑fighting, rescue, and more.”
It was noted that the exhibition had already provided the project with a clear assessment: the machine constantly attracts people — they examine it, discuss it, and try to adapt it to their own needs.
