"To Those Who Never Returned from Flight." A Belarusian-Russian exhibition dedicated to WWII hero pilots is taking place in Vitebsk.

The Vitebsk Museum of the History of Private Collections is displaying unique exhibits from the Belarusian-Russian search and memorial exhibition "To Those Who Did Not Return from Flight."

REFERENCE: For six years, the Information Center for Archival and Memorial Work "We Honor and Remember" has been implementing an international project aimed at studying the combat history of air units, establishing the fates of missing pilots, and preserving discovered relics.

The exhibition presents the results of many years of work by search teams from Novopolotsk, Borisov, Shklov, Minsk, and Moscow.

On display:

- fragments of combat aircraft from the Great Patriotic War, found at the crash sites, including serial numbers and personal belongings of the crew of Hero of the Soviet Union N.F. Gastello;
- relics associated with crews who died in the line of international duty;
- creative works by finalists of the Belarusian-Russian drawing competition;
- models of aircraft and military equipment from the Great Patriotic War;
- thematic books and magazines about the conquerors of the skies.
