Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Mikhail Myatlikov shared his outlook on whether the 2nd INNOPROM. Belarus international industrial expo will break the records of the 2025 edition, speaking to journalists ahead of the Belarus-Kyrgyzstan Business Council meeting in Minsk on 2 October, BelTA has learned.

Mikhail Myatlikov emphasized that the scale of the exhibition has grown significantly. While in 2025 more than 14,000 people from 24 countries visited the venue over the entire duration of the event, this year representatives from 45 nations have already registered.

“On the first day alone, 6,500 people visited the exhibition, and there were even more guests on the second day. The expo has expanded. There is literally no vacant space left anywhere,” he stressed.

The BelCCI head pointed to the dense schedule of business events. Specifically, the chamber is hosting a meeting of the Belarus-Kyrgyzstan Business Council, as well as a meeting of the heads of the chambers of commerce and industry of the CIS member states.

A substantial package of commercial agreements has been signed on the sidelines of the expo. Upon the forum’s conclusion, all results will be finalized and digitized, after which the BelCCI will release the final data. “We can safely say that last year’s record has been broken in terms of attendance, event density, total value, and the number of exhibitors,” the BelCCI head noted.

Answering a question about the expo’s future prospects, Mikhail Myatlikov confirmed that the parties aim to continue the project. “We discussed this matter with the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry. Both parties have the desire, and I think next year we will definitely hold the third INNOPROM. Belarus,” the BelCCI Chairman said.

President of Kyrgyzstan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Temir Sariyev noted that excellent relations are developing with the Belarusian side in terms of business cooperation. “This year, we established a new business council and frequently meet at the level of chambers of commerce and industry. However, when it comes to our trade relations, I believe that we are not fully utilizing our potential. There is interest and there are connections. Most importantly, there are people who want to work, trade, and set up joint ventures. Lately, we have seen an immense interest in food products from Belarus,” he added.

According to him, the Kyrgyz entrepreneurs who arrived in Minsk are aimed not just at purchasing goods, but at scaling up businesses and building entire retail networks. “Yesterday, at the main plenary session, the prime ministers spoke about industrialization, programs for setting up joint ventures, and industrial cooperation,” Temir Sariyev emphasized. “At the business council meeting, I want to propose setting a goal: to establish between 20 and 50 joint industrial ventures within five years. It is vital not only to trade but also to launch joint manufacturing operations in order to sell finished products on our domestic markets and export them to third countries.”

According to Temir Sariyev, Belarus has successfully preserved and expanded its powerful industrial potential, while Kyrgyzstan offers a capacious market and favorable logistics corridors. Through the territory of Kyrgyzstan, Belarusian manufacturers and joint ventures can gain direct access to the markets of China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Central Asian countries. The chamber head urged businesses from both nations to make more active use of this promising platform.
