Belarus and Russia have prepared a package of measures to deepen integration over the next three years. This was announced by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State, BELTA reports.

This refers to the primary guidelines for implementing the provisions of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State for 2027–2029. “The priority is to strengthen our common economic space, coordinate industrial and agricultural policies, drive digital development, and fulfill the tasks set by the presidents in the financial and energy sectors, healthcare, education, and many other areas that directly affect the well-being of our citizens,” Mikhail Mishustin said.

He emphasized that, on the instructions of the heads of state, systematic work continues to form a common socio-economic, scientific-technological, and cultural-humanitarian space of the Union State. “We see a tangible return from Russian and Belarusian integration. Our citizens enjoy equal rights and guarantees in healthcare, education, social security, and pensions. Our mutual trade is also growing steadily. Cooperation ties are being strengthened to develop high-tech industries. We expect that the Union State product status, currently assigned to jointly manufactured goods, will become a universally recognized mark of quality, including in foreign markets, and that our enterprises will expand cooperation in promising areas, including such high-tech sectors as shipbuilding, aircraft manufacturing, space exploration, the peaceful use of nuclear energy, electronics, and many others,” the Russian prime minister noted.

Particular attention is paid to the youth. “We are creating conditions so that young men and women in Belarus and Russia have everything necessary to obtain a good profession, unlock their talents, and participate in the work to develop our countries. This is the goal of the draft Union State youth policy strategy that we reviewed today. The document will be submitted to our presidents to sign. We are confident that it should provide an additional impetus to joint efforts in this critical area,” Mikhail Mishustin concluded.
