Deputies considered a bill on ratification of the Treaty with Russia on the exchange of statistical information

An extended meeting of the Standing Commission on Budget and Finance was held under the chairmanship of Vasily Panasyuk. The focus was on the integration economic bloc of the Union State.

Deputies discussed the draft Law «On Ratification of the Treaty between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on the Exchange of Statistical Information on Foreign and Mutual Trade». The document was submitted for consideration to the House of Representatives by the Council of Ministers on September 24 of this year.
The main purpose of the new draft law is to express Belarus's consent to be bound by the Treaty. The document itself is aimed at strengthening integration within the Union State, as well as cooperation on the exchange of statistical information on foreign and mutual trade.
At the meeting, issues were discussed regarding the format and deadlines for providing trade statistical information, as well as the competent agencies that are entrusted with responsibility for implementing the Treaty.
