“This is the second time this year that we are holding a meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers, which points to the acceleration of all integration processes. The agenda includes 15 issues. One of the key topics is the implementation of the main guidelines for the Union State Treaty for 2024–2026 and the drafting of a document for the next period. We need to thoroughly review these materials, as we are to report them to our heads of state at the Supreme State Council meeting,” Aleksandr Turchin noted.
According to the prime minister, the results over the three-year period are visible. In the macroeconomic domain, a socio-economic development forecast for the Union State through 2028 has been drafted and agreed upon.

“We can see the impact of our integration. In the industrial sector, it was decided to grant the products of Russian and Belarusian manufacturers the status of Union State Goods. A collegial body, the Union State Committee for Standardization and Quality, has been established to organize and coordinate product quality assurance. Significant work has been done in the transport sector, including the equalization of rail tariffs for mineral and construction cargo, as well as the launch of cross-border commuter rail services. Furthermore, an agreement has been signed between Belarus and Russia on forming a unified electricity market of the Union State,” Aleksandr Turchin noted.
A number of tasks in the areas of agricultural policy and digital signatures are still to be resolved by the end of the year. “We have plenty of productive work ahead of us so that in December we can report to our presidents that the vast majority of our plans have been fulfilled,” the prime minister emphasized.
One of the key topics within the Union State is ensuring equal rights for the citizens of Belarus and Russia. It remains under the special supervision of Aleksandr Lukashenko, Chairman of the Supreme State Council.
“I am confident that with your help, we will certainly implement everything that remains unfinished. I am ready to discuss current issues, as well as any problems that may still be unresolved,” the prime minister said, addressing Sergei Glazyev.
