The Government of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug is interested in updating the mining equipment fleet with reliable equipment adapted to harsh climatic conditions. This issue was discussed during a visit to the Belarusian enterprise BELAZ by Anton Yaremchuk, Deputy Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous District.

A delegation from the Far East visited the company's assembly plants, where they got acquainted with production technologies, and studied the performance characteristics and competitive advantages of mass-produced models at the exhibition site. The Deputy Governor was particularly impressed by the driving performance of the 130-ton BELAZ-7513 dump truck, which was demonstrated to the guests in motion.

During the business negotiations, the parties discussed specific options for expanding cooperation and expressed mutual interest in continuing the dialogue on promising joint projects. The focus is on the supply of quarry equipment of various lifting capacities for the leading mining companies in the region. The Chukotka Autonomous Okrug is a key mineral resource center of Russia, with rich deposits of gold, copper, coal, tin and other minerals. BELAZ's fleet of vehicles, which is already operating in this Arctic region, today includes 45-ton dump trucks, mining machines and special equipment. It is expected that the new equipment will contribute to the further development of the mining industry in the Far North.
