The second session of the Seventh All-Belarusian People's Assembly will begin in Minsk today. This is one of the most significant events in the country's public and political life, traditionally serving as a platform for extensive discussions about the future of Belarus.

Among the invited guests is Sergey Glazyev, the State Secretary of the Union State.

The Head of State, Alexander Lukashenko, will address the Belarusian people and parliament with a message.

The key task of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly is to approve the country's socio-economic development program for the next five years. The priorities outlined in the new document cover all areas of life, including demographic security, youth policy, human capital development (including education), creating comfortable living conditions and decent working conditions, developing the digital economy, robotization, and automation, strengthening the regions, ensuring peace and security, and promoting tourism.

In addition to the approval of strategic programs, the VNS meeting will also consider personnel issues for the Constitutional and Supreme Courts for the first time, which is now within the Assembly's jurisdiction. The delegates will elect five new judges for the Constitutional Court, who will retire upon reaching the age limit of 70
