Shipments of pears and animal feed worth Br625 thousand were illegally exported from Belarus to Russia

Since the beginning of December, employees of the Mogilev and Gomel customs offices have already established six violations of the requirements for the transportation of goods on the Belarusian-Russian border. This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the State Customs Committee.

Without the necessary accompanying documents and certificates confirming the safety of products, a total of about 13 thousand packages of animal feed and more than 40 tons of pears were going to be exported to Russia.
"For example, animal feed was transported in three trucks that were stopped for inspection by Mogilev customs officers, and more than 20 tons of pears were transported in another truck. There were similar goods in two more trucks that were stopped by Gomel customs officers," the press service said.
The total cost of feed and fruits, which were illegally transported, amounted to Br625 thousand.
According to all the facts, the customs began administrative proceedings in accordance with art.13.12 of the Administrative Code.
The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 30 basic units in respect of an individual, and up to 50% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense in respect of individual entrepreneurs and legal entities.
