The Russian President said that the day before he watched a live broadcast of the speech of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the VII All-Belarusian National Assembly. "And I have to congratulate him. It was a very emotional, vivid and meaningful speech. And I want to express my gratitude to him for assessing the state of Russian-Belarusian relations," Vladimir Putin said.
"As for the issue of security, we are solving them both bilaterally and within the framework of the CSTO," he stressed. The Russian President recalled that in his speech at the All-Belarusian National Assembly, Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the Oreshnik complex and the deployment of Russian nuclear tactical weapons on the territory of Belarus. "We have regular exercises, a group of troops has been created, and our defense ministries are working very closely with each other. The security of the Union State is in the reliable hands of our military and will certainly be ensured," Vladimir Putin said.
