Ipatov: all proposals of the Belarusian People's Congress delegates to the program of social and economic development until 2030 have been taken into account

All the proposals received from the delegates of the VII All-Belarusian People's Congress on the draft Program of socio-economic development of Belarus for 2026-2030 were taken into account when finalizing it. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Vadim Ipatov, commenting on the results of the work of the Belarusian People's Congress. He stressed that the approved program is a fundamental document defining the country's development for the next five years, and the approach to its creation was extremely serious, reports Soyuz.by.

The work began with the Ministry of Economy working on the draft and reviewing it at the Presidium of the Council of Ministers. However, as Ipatov noted, following the meeting, the head of state created a special working group to make the document ambitious, but understandable and specific for all citizens. The result of this large-scale work was a significant change in the program, including an increase in the number of its priority areas of development from five to seven.
Vadim Ipatov recalled that during the preparation of the draft program, it was submitted for wide public discussion in the regions, where, first of all, the delegates of the Belarusian People's Congress actively participated, and each of their proposals was taken into account. The Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives noted that the Belarusian People's Congress is a vivid manifestation of popular democracy, since it includes representatives of all branches of government and civil society activists. According to him, such a composition underlines the popular character of this state body, which corresponds to the constitutional principle of the people as a source of power. At the same time, Ipatov added that, having broad powers, the Belarusian People's Congress, in accordance with the spirit of the Constitution, does not replace or interfere in the activities of other state institutions, maintaining a systemic balance.
