The Program of socio-economic development of Belarus for 2026-2030, approved by the All-Belarusian National Assembly, sets out specific growth figures, which are based on the daily work of enterprises and every citizen. This opinion was expressed by Chairman of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeenko in an interview with reporters, noting that the document had been carefully worked out and agreed upon at all levels of government, including the head of state. Sergeenko recalled that after consideration by the Presidium of the Council of Ministers, a working group was established with the participation of deputies, and many of their proposals were reflected in the final version of the program, which was then discussed in the regions and both houses of parliament. The speaker stressed that the seven priorities set out in the document, such as improving the quality of life of citizens, ensuring security and strong regions, are interconnected and complementary, the correspondent reports Soyuz.by.

The Chairman of the House of Representatives named projected GDP growth of 15.8%, an increase in exports of goods and services by 19.5% and an increase in real incomes of the population by 21% over the five-year period as key targets of the program. Commenting on the "strong regions" priority, Sergeenko said that the "One district, One Project" program will be continued, and special attention will be paid to the development of the road network and the social sphere – healthcare and education, which is reflected in specific regional initiatives. Touching upon the issues of defense capability, he drew attention to serious plans to increase the production of their own weapons and equipment. According to Igor Sergeenko, each of the seven priorities of the program sets strenuous but achievable tasks for the state and society aimed at the sustainable development of the country.
