Lukashenko and Putin wish Aliev happy birthday

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin have sent birthday greetings to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. This was reported in the press service of the Belarusian and Russian leaders.

"I am sure that this year you are celebrating your holiday with a special mood. Thanks to your political wisdom and firm will, the Republic of Azerbaijan is steadily increasing its international prestige, achieving its goals," the message of greetings reads.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that Belarus attaches special importance to the relations of strategic partnership with Azerbaijan, as well as the progressive development of interstate cooperation in various fields.
"I appreciate the trusting contacts and mutual support on multilateral platforms, as well as your attention to deepening the Belarusian-Azerbaijani dialogue at all levels," the President stressed.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Ilham Aliyev good health, happiness and new achievements for the benefit of the Azerbaijani people.
In his address, Vladimir Putin noted the generally recognized successes that Azerbaijan has achieved under the leadership of Ilham Aliyev in the socio-economic sphere, as well as the consistent strengthening of the country's position in the international arena. The Russian President stressed that bilateral relations are based on strong traditions of friendship, good neighborliness and mutual respect.
"I am confident that these relations will continue to develop in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance, which undoubtedly meets the interests of the Russian and Azerbaijani peoples," the congratulatory telegram says.
Vladimir Putin wished Ilham Aliyev good health, well-being and success in his government activities, and also asked him to convey his heartfelt greetings to the family of the Azerbaijani leader.
