Petrozavodsk — Minsk: ticket sales for a new international flight have started

Starting today, the sale of air tickets for a new international route that will connect the capital of Karelia, Petrozavodsk, with Minsk, has been officially opened. The first flight in this direction is scheduled for spring 2026. This is reported by the telegram channel of the head of Karelia.

As reported, the flights will be operated by Severstal Airlines during the summer season: from May 3 to September 13. Flights will be operated weekly on Sundays.

Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft, designed for 50 passenger seats, will be used to service the route. The time that passengers will spend in the air will be 1 hour and 40 minutes.

According to the approved schedule, departure from Petrozavodsk (Besovets) is scheduled for 13:30, arriving at Minsk National Airport at 15:10. The return flight from Minsk will depart at 10:20, arriving in Petrozavodsk at 12:00.

It is noted that the launch of this direction became possible after a successful survey among residents of Karelia, where the Minsk direction became the leader in demand. Following the agreements reached with Severstal Airlines, the route was approved.

The new route is designed to strengthen transport links between the regions of Russia and Belarus, responding to high demand from passengers.
