Belarus and Russia have updated the main document in the field of military-technical cooperation (MTC). This was reported in the press service of the State Military Industrial Committee (GVPC).

Dmitry Pantus, Chairman of the GVPC, met with Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Federal Military-Technical Cooperation Service of Russia. The heads of the departments discussed issues of harmonization of legislation in the areas of export control and military-technical cooperation, integration of the military-industrial complexes of the two countries. A separate topic was the mutual supply of military products in the interests of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia, as well as third countries.

In addition, Dmitry Pantus and Dmitry Shugaev signed a protocol on amendments to the agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on the development of military-technical cooperation dated December 10, 2009. "The changes made will make it possible to update approaches to mutual supplies of products under the agreement, taking into account the current geopolitical situation," the press service of GVPC emphasized.
