“There are now 11 multi-brand centers operating in Russia, including one in Rostov Oblast. Another is already up and running in Krasnodar Territory, We’ll hold the official opening later, but it's already doing its job,” Andrei Kuznetsov stated.
Last year saw the opening of the second phase of a multi-brand center in Kemerovo Oblast. “We’ve expanded and fine-tuned its operations, giving us a stronger market presence and better direct contact with customers who use our equipment,” the minister explained.
Andrei Kuznetsov stated that seven Russian federal districts now have multi-brand Belarusian machinery centers, except only for the Northwestern District. “We should have that covered this year. The first phase in St. Petersburg is set to be completed in 2024,” the minister announced.
How do these centers benefit Belarusian manufacturers? “It's primarily about enhancing our image, though there is an economic benefit as well,” Andrei Kuznetsov explained. "The key is making these multi-brand centers effective at showcasing our Belarusian brands.”
Furthermore, joint training facilities are being established both within the multi-brand centers and at educational institutions.
The meeting also addressed how these centers could boost Belarusian exports and what sales model would be used: whether manufacturers would operate independently or through Russian partners. Andrei Kuznetsov confirmed that a hybrid approach has been adopted.
