Anna Derugo victorious at Russian Freestyle Aerials Cup

Belarusian aerials skiers clinched two medals at the final stage of the Russian Aerials Cup, BelTA has learned.

The competitions took place in the Podolino sports center in Yaroslavl District. Anna Derugo of Belarus scored a total of 161.30 points to win the Women’s Aerials event. Silver went to Liubov Pilipenko of Belarus (156.28 points). Anastasiya Andriyanova of Belarus placed fourth. Belarus’ Stsiapan Zelianko finished fourth in the men’s event where Russians completed a stunning clean sweep of the podium.
Belarusian athletes are set to take part in the Russian Freestyle Ski Championship near Yaroslavl on 27-28 February.
