Lukashenko to chair EAEU summit, attend Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk

The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum will take place in Minsk on 26-27 June. The events will be held during Belarus’ presidency in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in 2025, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will chair the EAEU summit and, together with other heads of state, will participate in the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum. Delegations from several dozen countries are expected to attend the events.
The Eurasian Economic Forum will begin its work on 26 June. The Minsk International Exhibition Center will host the event. The Belarusian president will participate in the plenary session “The strategy of Eurasian economic integration: Results and prospects”. The forum’s program includes six major thematic blocks comprising 35 events, with more than 2,700 participants from 33 countries expected to attend.
The EAEU summit will be held under the chairmanship of Aleksandr Lukashenko at the Palace of Independence on 27 June. The agenda includes pressing issues of Eurasian integration, such as international cooperation, strategic directions for integration development, liberalization of services within the EAEU, economic cooperation in sports, and the expansion of trade and economic ties with the EAEU’s key partners.
